Nader to make major speech on "The Moral Imperative of the Left"
Independent Presidential Candidate, Ralph Nader, on his third run, will make a major address on The Moral Imperative of the Left at a National Press Club Newsmaker event at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 24, in the Murrow Room of the Club, 529 14th St., 13th floor.
Among the questions Nader will address:
Why is it that so-called liberals and progressives continue to support Democratic candidates like Obama whose campaign slogans and rhetoric do not match their stated positions and voting records?
Why do we progressives continue to delude ourselves that we stand for core, liberal values and then work for candidates who demonstrate that they have no commitment to these values?
Why should we take a stand?
