NADER STEPS IT UP: FINISHES 50-STATE TOUR, LIVE PRES. DEBATE ON C-SPAN, GUINNESS WORLD RECORD, NATIONAL AD CAMPAIGN, MAJOR ADDRESS ON WHY HE RUNS
Following his Montana rallies earlier this week, Ralph Nader became the only presidential candidate to have campaigned in all 50 states this year. Less than two weeks to go before the election, Nader/Gonzalez will be kicking the campaign into high gear with back-to-back events scheduled.
Starting early next week, Nader/Gonzalez will be running anti-bailout ads in 12 key states where the campaign expects to generate the most attention and earn the most votes.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, Mr. Nader will participate in a milestone third party presidential debate at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel at 9 p.m. EST. The 90-minute debate will be broadcast live on C-Span.
On Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, Mr. Nader will give a major speech at the National Press Club (Murrow room) on the "Moral Imperative of the Left," laying down the philosophical basis for why he runs.
On Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, Mr. Nader will make 21-stops, drive 365 miles, and make over 315 minutes of speeches as part of the "Massachusetts Marathon" where he will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for most speeches in one day.
And finally next week, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 28, Mr. Nader will make his final rounds campaigning in traditional swing states Florida, Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
