On Thursday, October 30th at 7:30pm, consumer advocate and Presidential candidate Ralph Nader will hold a press conference and then a rally in the University Hall at the University of Toledo.
His speech will focus on healthcare issues and his belief in the necessity of adopting a single-payer healthcare system in the United States. Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, Provost and Executive Vice president for Health Affairs and Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Toledo, will speak and introduce Mr. Nader.
The citizens of Toledo will remember Mr. Nader’s work for ten years defending them from Daimler-Chrystler’s use of eminent domain to take Toldoans property adjacent to the factory and destroy their neighborhood. To this day, Mr. Nader continues to assist Kim’s Auto Shop for proper reimbursement for the city’s destruction of their small business.
Mr. Nader will also speak about the Wall St. Bailout, the Iraq War, the environment, and the state of the Presidential debates from which he was excluded. He will also speak about a host of local issues and show the people of Toledo how those local concerns fit into his national campaign.
Ralph Nader is the number three contender for the Presidency, America’s number one consumer advocate, and he has real solutions to our healthcare woes.
