Donate Now to Protest War in Iraq
Good morning.
Did you catch this headline in the Washington Post last month?
Some Things Just Won’t Change
In it, Post reporter Michael Abramowitz writes:
"Sweeping oratory aside, a President Barack Obama or a President Hillary Rodham Clinton - let alone a President John McCain - might chart a course in the world that’s surprisingly similar to that of George W. Bush in his second term."
And on Iraq:
"Many Democratic foreign policy pooh-bahs (not for the record, of course) think that thousands of U.S. troops will remain in Iraq for years to come, on the theory that a complete withdrawal would be too dangerous. While both Clinton and Obama have promised significant troop reductions upon taking office, they have also left themselves enough wiggle room that they could leave plenty of troops to fight al-Qaeda in Iraq or other missions without violating a campaign promise."
There is another way.
Get out of Iraq.
Get the U.S. oil companies out.
Get the military bases out.
Get the troops out.
Nader/Gonzalez would set a six-month deadline to get out of Iraq.
McCain/Clinton/Obama would not.
This past weekend, Ralph Nader toured Hillary Clinton’s home state of New York.
From Buffalo to Syracuse to the north country, Nader made the point - time to get out of Iraq.
Nader is in Connecticut today, and then on to Vermont.
As Ralph Nader continues his 50-state peace campaign, our supporters are working to get Nader/Gonzalez on ballots all across this country.
From Maine to California, and Florida to Alaska.
Come November, we hope to give the citizens of the United States a choice.
Against war.
Against military occupation.
For peace.
For cutting the bloated, wasteful military budget.
So, vote now for Nader/Gonzalez.
Donate now to the growing peace alternative.
Help propel our campaign onward to November.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to peace.
Together, we will make a difference.
