Who can participate
Open to legal U.S. residents, 18 years or older at time of entry. Employees of Nader for President 2008 and immediate families and persons living in the same household of such employees are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
Who can you invite?
You can invite any person who has a valid e-mail address.
What we don’t allow:

Confirmation e-mail link must be clicked by an individual and not by automated program

Any attempts to game the system by using bots, scripts, or other automated methods may result in disqualification

E-mail addresses can’t be aliases (i.e. addresses that just forward to your main account)

You can’t create e-mail addresses exclusively for the purpose for participating in this contest.

No Purchase Necessary
There is no purchase necessary to enter this contest. Each time a friend accepts your invitation to participate, credit is automatically applied.
Prizes
1st Place: Dinner with Ralph Nader at a mutually agreed time and place.
2nd Place: Dinner with Matt Gonzalez at a mutually agreed time and place.
3rd Place: Invitation to the November 4 Nader/Gonzalez Election Night Party in Washington, DC.
4-20th Place: Autographed copy of Unsafe at Any Speed and an autographed copy of the DVD An Unreasonable Man.
Anyone who gets more than 25 new e-mail sign ups will receive a t-shirt of your choice from our Web store and a copy of the Declaration of Independence.
Anyone who recruits at least 20 friends will receive a t-shirt of your choice from our Web store.
Anyone who recruits at least 5 friends will get to join a special invite-only conference call with Ralph Nader and Matt Gonzalez.
General Conditions
Decisions made by Nader for President 2008 are final. No transfer/cash substitution of prizes permitted. Potential winners must execute an affidavit and liability release within 5 days of attempted notification, except where prohibited. All members entering contest must have valid contact information including name and e-mail address.
Winner will be notified by e-mail.
Nader for President 2008 reserves the right to post, remove, or modify this sweepstakes on the Internet at any time.
Nader for President 2008 reserves the right to disqualify entries from anyone tampering with the Website or Internet entry process.
If, for any reason, the sweepstakes or any drawing is not capable of running as planned by reason of damage by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical limitations or failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Nader for President 2008, could compromise, undermine, or otherwise affect the Official Rules, administration,security, fairness, or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Nader for President 2008 reserves the right and absolute discretion to modify these Official Rules and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes.
Nader for President 2008 assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access to the site.
Nader for President 2008 is not responsible for injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer, other equipment, or person relating to or resulting from participation in the contest, or from downloading materials or accessing the site. Contest is subject to U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participants release Nader for President 2008 from any liability or loss resulting from participation in the contest or acceptance or use of any prize.
By their entry, participants are agreeing to these rules. By acceptance of prize, winner agrees to rules and use of name/likeness for commercial or promotional purposes by Nader for President 2008 without notification or compensation, except where prohibited. No mechanical or automated devices may be used to generate entries. Nader for President 2008 is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries or mail or computer malfunctions.
